Integrated Sports Medicine was founded by Ted Putvin in 2009 in the Olympia, WA area. Ted has been in the sports medicine field since 1991. From 1991 through current date, Ted has been a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) working with athletes of all levels from 3rd grade soccer players through high school participants, college competitors, all the way to Professional athletes & U.S. Olympic athletes at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. Ted has taken the skills learned from those experiences, along with working for many years in physical therapy clinics, to develop a very strong program to address: identifying, healing, strengthening and/or ultimately preventing injuries.

Ted has been an ATC for many years and decided to change his field slightly while still working with athletes* of all ability levels. Ted wants to make a difference by working individually with athletes . With the addition of a Massage License, Ted is able to work more effectively. Ted is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Washington State Athletic Trainers Association in which he is a part of the Governmental Affairs committee. Ted also is active in the local Massage community.
*My definition of an athlete is anyone who is active or wants to be active but may not be able to be active due to a current or past injury. Activity is unique to each person. My goal is to help people be pain-free and live the life they want.
Ted is an avid Runner, who has run in several Marathons and an Ultra-Marathon (the above picture shows Ted (bald guy) and Wayne around mile 8 of the 36 mile Capital Forest Ultra Marathon). Ted also enjoys Mountain Biking in the Capital Forest in his spare time.
